At Van Isle Containers, we provide portable storage and moving container rentals for all your personal or business storage and moving needs across Vancouver Island. So whether you’re looking for a secure place to stow away your tools and equipment at your job site, need a temporary space to store your furniture during your home renovation, or want to get ahead of your future move, we can help!

We’ll deliver your container directly to your location so that you can use and load it as you need, from there we can either store it away for you at our secure facility, or take it to another location entirely.

While we do service all of Vancouver Island, some of our most requested regions include Victoria, Nanaimo, Courtenay, Langford, Sidney, Saanichton, Port Alberni, Tofino, Campbell River, Parksville, Ladysmith, Duncan, and more!

We rented a container for 8 months. Delivery was great, on time and container was in perfect condition. When they picked up the container, the ground was muddy from all the rain. There were ruts left in the ground from the heavy truck and trailer. Van Isle Containers were quick to respond and help repair that damage that was made. I would use this company again.

Unfortunately, Coast Containers and its sister company Van Isle Containers have provided terrible service and product. I purchased two 40 foot high cube containers in July 2023. The seller promised they would be water tight despite me noting several welds in one containers roof. The logistics regarding delivery were poorly organized, with Coast Containers not passing the information on how to reach our site, which is without a civic address, to the trucking and crane team. Ultimately, the delivery company got lost and Pam Hudson called my sister and yelled at her quite unprofessionally for not providing appropriate information, despite this being included in previous emails and phone conversations. The purchased lock boxes were not delivered with the containers for weeks. Finally, with the first heavy rains in Sept the seacan with noted patch jobs had a heavy leak. Van Isle offered to repair this using a torch on membrane on Nov 7th, not the recommended corten steel. Since this time I have had no meaningful response for either proper repair or refund for my leaking can, despite requesting the same and paying this company $7K for the faulty seacan. Truly one of the most internally disorganized companies I have had to deal with.
